Euro zone’s manufacturing industry accelerated
The performance of the euro area’ manufacturing industry increased by nearly to its ten-year peak in February.
According to the datas of the purchasing manager index (PMI) of Markit; the index increased to 59.0 points from the 57.3 points of January, in accordance with the first estimates and in line with analysts' expectations. With this, the manufacturing performance of the euro area countries is continuously over 50 points since 17 months and has not been so high since June 2000 – reports MTI.
