Syngenta: by modernizing, the Hungarian sunflower production could significantly expand
The seed company justified its expectations with experimental results. They remind you that the best yields have already reached 6-7 tons per hectare, although in 2019 Hungary reached the world record with just over 3 tons, so it was ranked 9th at the top of the global rankings, even with its relatively small production area. China, Russia and other large producers are harvesting just 2 tonnes per hectare, they wrote. (MTI)
