SuperStore competition winners
In 2017 Trade magazin and Trade Marketing Club organised a competition – called SuperStore – for stores which have their registered company seat in Hungary. There were nearly 20 competition entries and the jury of experts evaluated them by giving points and writing a brief assessment of them. Jury members were focusing on overall effect, the harmony of concept and realisation, originality and creativity.
SuperStore winners were announced in 13 store categories (hypermarket, supermarket, discount supermarket, drugstore, specialist shop – food, specialist shop – non-food, specialist shop – non-FMCG, national tobacco shop, pop-up store, shop-in-shop, franchise store, small shop, petrol station shop) and the winner of the Store of the Year prize was also named.
Competition entries were on display between 26 and 29 September 2017 at the Business Days conference in Tapolca. The results were announced and the prizes were presented at the gala dinner of the prestigious FMCG conference on 28 September 2017. Store of the Year Hungary 2017 became CO-OP Start Kereskedelmi Zrt.’s supermarket on Szabadság Square in Jászberény – this competition entry got the best evaluation from the jury in the 13 categories; winners can use the title for an unlimited period of time, but only with the year of winning being indicated.
