The chocolate pralines withdrawn from circulation can cause severe allergic reactions
The National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) told MTI on Friday that an alert arrived on September 3 on Thursday night through the European Union’s the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).
The dangerous products are: the “Choceur” Belgian praline (item code: 1523021 L), and the “Palace” a selection of Belgian praline (best before date: 08/16/2016) which were removed from the shelves of the stores.
According to the Belgian authorities, these two products do not conatin allergenic ingredients, but peanuts. Therefore, the NÉBIH draws attention of the peanut-sensitive consumers not to consume the products mentioned above. (MTI)
