Successful programme for developing e-commerce
The joint programme of Mastercard and BIG FISH, started in 2016, was very successful. Improving the online shopping experience was in the focus of the project. In the ‘E-commerce review’ programme 21 online shops had the chance to use the help of experts for increasing sales. Leading strategic consultancy firm Roland Berger conducted a survey with more than 100 heads of FMCG companies. According to the study, FMCG companies are lagging behind in organisational structure, strategy level, digitisation and performance in the fields of marketing and sales. Frigyes Schannen, managing director of Roland Berger’s Hungarian affiliate told: less than 10 percent of FMCG companies have a Digital Chief Officer, a person responsible for developing a digital business model. //
