Aldi launches streaming service
Aldi starts its music streaming service in Germany: in cooperation with Napster, it launches Aldi Life Musik with a monthly subscription fee of EUR 7.99. Subscribers can choose from 34 million songs and 10,000 audio books. In 2014 Germans consumers spent 87 percent more on music streaming subscriptions than in the previous year.
