Retail giants sign strategic agreement in China
Alibaba Group Holding Limited, Auchan Retail S.A. and Ruentex Group have signed a strategic agreement: they decided to share the experience they have in traditional (offline) and digital (online) retail, in order to discover new selling opportunities in Chinese grocery retail. Within the framework of the agreement, the three companies increase their share in the company Sun Art – one of China’s leading multichannel grocery retailers (they operate 12 million square metres of retail space: 446 RT Mart and Auchan hypermarkets, plus supermarkets and unmanned Auchan Minute stores). //
