Terrán remained on a growth path even in the challenging construction environment: the company’s net sales increased by more than 14% compared to 2024, while further strengthening its market position with portfolio expansion, technological developments and the creation of a complex umbrella brand. In addition to roof tiles and the Generon solar roof system, the company also started producing KészTető and paving stones.

In new-generation industrial thinking, a holistic strategy truly leads to results. Terrán has always been a pioneer in innovations, but by continuously expanding its portfolio and services, it has created a complex umbrella brand that not only serves everyday needs, but also shapes the atmosphere, lifespan and future of homes. Its high-quality solutions keep safety, aesthetics and sustainability in mind. Its expertise and innovative approach are also supported by economic data. The company’s net sales revenue increased by more than 14% compared to 2024, exceeding HUF 17 billion, approximately 80% of which was realized on the domestic market.

The past two years have shown a strengthening despite the critical industry situation, with the company’s net sales revenue increasing by 26.7% compared to 2023.

The data shows that Terran is adapting well to changes in the market environment and consistently responding to emerging challenges, but due to the narrowing of the willingness to consume, the increase in sales revenue was possible with a pricing policy that was primarily aimed at maintaining volume.

The more than 100-year-old company now employs 345 people at the group level. Adaptability for development

Maintaining stability is mainly due to the fact that one of Terrán’s main virtues is resilience. In response to the turbulent changes in the construction industry and more cautious consumer behavior, the company is taking several steps to consolidate its position, one of the main pillars of which is the continuous development and expansion of products and services. The Generon solar roof system and KészTető were also part of the strategy that aims to increase market coverage by providing more complex customer service and expanding competencies.

“We are currently present in nine countries in Central Europe, with production taking place in seven different plants. As a 100% Hungarian-owned, traditional family business, we work according to precisely defined principles. We prioritize supporting sustainable, environmentally conscious architecture, greening the construction industry, and developing solutions that will make our homes future-proof. We consider it our mission to develop and produce quality building materials so that our built environment becomes aesthetically pleasing in the long term. Moreover, our vision is to build the homes of the future, and our goal is to grow into one of the region’s leading building materials manufacturers. Not only through roofing materials, but also through all our products that shape the visible elements of the built environment and contribute to making it more harmonious”

– he says Attila Gódi, Managing Director.

Foundations of development

Part of the expansion activities was also the entry into the decorative paving market, which proved to be an obvious choice due to the experience gained in concrete technology. Moreover, the area and the plot of land of the new factory provide opportunities for further expansion.

“The character of a building is determined by the image created by the visible parts together, therefore, an outstanding aesthetic sense is required to select individual elements. When designing the product range, we did not primarily think about creating different categories or developing products that can be delegated to existing groups. Our approach focused on complexity, so Terrán Térkő will appear on the Hungarian decorative paving market with multifunctional products and accessories that can be combined with each other and with the company group’s existing solutions, creating synergy with them”

– highlights László Brieber, the head of the business unit.
