Spar’s success in Central Europe

Spar opened 4 stores in Poland, in the autumn another 4 shop will start and in September a Eurospar supermarket opened in Kokoszyce. This year Spar appeared with 21 new stores in the markets of Central Europe. In Croatia Spar completed the refurbishment of Billa stores: the 40 new shops cover the whole of Croatia – all of these units have a floor space of 500-1,500m². The company now has a 9-percent market share in the country.
