A SPAR room was opened at the Buda Campus of the Szent István University

A modern teaching room was handed over with SPAR’s support of over 4.5 million forints at the Faculty of Food Sciences at the Szent István (St. Stephen’s) University. The development opens a new chapter in the 13-year partnership between SPAR and the Faculty.

The cooperation between SPAR and the Faculty of Food Sciences has progressed steadily over the last thirteen years. During this time, the company and the educational institution implemented a number of innovative initiatives in the field of food safety and food traceability.

“Our University and SPAR have also signed a dual training contract in recent years, and today, our cooperation has come to another important station by handing over SPAR’s food retail room. It is our common interest to give high level of competing knowledge in the labor market to our students – dr. Tózsér János, Rector of the Szent István University emphasized.
