21 restaurants in Spain received Michelin stars. One received three-stars, five received two-stars and fifteen received one-star.
The 2017 Michelin guide book – showcasing the best catering places in Spain and Portugal – was presented on Thursday in Gerona. Portugal received nine Michelin stars from the editors.
The Spanish press described the event as a unprecedented star rainfall. The ultimate winner has become Martín Berasategui Basque chef and restaurant owner. (MTI, Fehér Krisztina)
