South Korean cosmetics at Unilever
Unilever is to spend USD 2.7 billion on buying a South Korean cosmetics manufacturer, in order to stay the fourth biggest player in the skin care market. Carver Korea’s sales were worth USD 321 million last year. The value of the South Korean skin care market can reach USD 6.3 billion. 35 percent of Carver Korea products are sold in China.
