Beer Association: 2.4 percent less beer was sold in the first half of the year
Beer consumption decreased in Hungary in the first half of the year, according to the president of the Hungarian Brewers’ Association, mainly due to the cooler weather.
In the first half of the year, the domestic sales of the five largest producers (Borsodi, Dreher, Heineken, Carlsberg and Pécsi) decreased by 2.4 percent to 3051 thousand hectoliters, compared to last year, Kántor Sándor president of the Hungarian Brewers’ Association told MTI. (MTI)
