The Soproni Brewery is 125 years old and faces a bright future
The Soproni Brewery is 125 years old. Continuous renewal and innovation is an integral part of the history of the Soproni Brewery – this is the message of the poster exhibition, which will commemorate its anniversary on March 13, 2020 from the main square of the Sopron Castle District. The exhibition shows how a long-standing company like HEINEKEN Hungária, which operates the Soproni Brewery, can make a difference to the environment and sustainability, while also highlighting the role of consumers.
“Tradition and innovation go hand in hand at the Soproni Brewery,” says Geert Swaanenburg, CEO of Heineken Hungária. At the opening ceremony of the Brewery’s 125th anniversary poster exhibition “Let’s Tap a Better World” the CEO emphasized: “Sopronians can be very proud today as they have the most popular domestic beer in the country*, the Soproni.”
