The harvest begins on 11 August in Sopron
Thanks to the good weather the harvest of the Irsai Olivér grapes will start in the hottest vineyards near the Fertő Lake in Sopron on Monday.
The Taschner Bor- és Pezsgőház (Taschner Wine and Champagne House) can harvest the Irsai Olivér type grapes a week earlier than in 2013 while at little higher, cooler vineyards the company is still waiting for a week.
