Kopint-Tárki expects much higher GDP growth, compared to its previous forecast
Kopint-Tárki expects a much higher GDP growth of 6.8 percent this year, instead of the 5-5.5 percent indicated in the summer, CEO Palócz Éva presented the research institute’s latest economic report on Friday.
She announced at an online press conference of Kopint-Tárki that all components of the 2021 growth are at significant risk. An increase of more than 8.0 percent, as published by some research institutes, is not considered likely.
She added GDP growth of around 5.0 percent is expected to remain unchanged in 2022. (MTI)
