Slow Food founder: Do not lose the right to enjoy nutrition
Do not let that consumers to lose their right to enjoy nutrition – says Carlo Petrini, founder of the Slow Food, movement.
The founder of the organization fighting against the adverse health effects of the world's currend culinary trends stressed in a interview in the Belgian La Libre Belgique newspaper published on Thursday that the consumers should be educated to intellegent consumption, where consumers are conscious.
He called it unacceptable that while one billion people are starving, another 1.7 billion struggles with obesity, diabetes and other diseases resulting from overfed – reports MTI.
