SIRHA Budapest 2014: gives shape to the new trends
The SIRHA Budapest, Hungexpo’s new professional exhibition has opened its doors on 10 March 2014. The opening ceremony began with the welcoming words of Hermann Zsuzsanna, Trade magazin’s editor in chief, who is the host of the event as well.
Ganczer Gábor, CEO of Hungexpo in his speech emphasized that a revoultion is taking place in the Hungarian gastronomy for years. It is the re-construction of the Hungarian cuisine, and a battle against the misguided traditions.
The first results are already visible: Hungary is in the finals of the Bocuse d'Or and Hungary has two Michelin-starred restaurants as well. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The exhibition was officially opened by Dr. Fazekas Sándor, Minister for Rural Development, who spoke highly appreciative words about the SIRHA Budapest professional exhibition as the must-see prestigious event of the Central and Eastern European region.
