Signature 40: Once again, the main role belongs to operational specialists
They are looking for the best brand managers of the year once again: the Signature 40 initiative awards operative specialists who are behind successful campaigns and projects and work directly below the decision-making level. Nominations for the gap-filling ranking list can only be made by recommendation, so far more than 520 recommendations have been received. In addition, this year professionals can start on even more thematic lists. The recommendation period runs until August 23, and candidates can nominate until August 27.
The Signature 40 initiative was also launched this year: a list that collects and evaluates top trade and brand managers as well as communication specialists, the aim of which is to present and recognize future decision-makers.
The top lists and awards recognizing marketing communication specialists mostly evaluate senior managers of large companies, even though behind every successful marketing communication campaign there is also a good operational specialist. They are the ones who manage the company’s strategy and goals at the level of implementation, and move the circle of agencies that serve them.
