Hungary's competitiveness is lagging behind
In case of competitiveness Hungary is still lagging behind in the European Union – shows the annual report of the European Commission (EC). The industrial performance of the member states were based on three main criterias.
Labour productivity (on the basis of the per capita performance in the facory industry), the ratio of innovative companies operating within all companies, and how business-friendly is the policy of the government. The Hungarian positions are 18, 25 and 26 from the union's 27 member states. The study found that many Hungarian companies are complaining about the burdensome legislations – reports Világgazdaság Online.
