Persil’s September campaign supports assistance dogs
Persil’s CSR campaign in September supports the training of assistance dogs and animal-assisted therapies with 25 forints for every Persil product purchased. Customers can thus contribute with a simple decision to the implementation of guide dogs, as well as movement development and therapy dog programs, which make the everyday lives of children, the elderly and people with disabilities easier and more complete.
Even a purchasing decision can be a huge help. Between September 1 and 30, Persil will support the training of assistance dogs and therapy programs with 25 forints for every product sold. The largest retail chains are also participating in the promotion, so wherever you shop – on the shelves of Tesco, Interspar, Spar, Auchan, Penny, Aldi, Lidl, Rossmann, DM, Metro, CBA, Coop, Reál, EcoFamily, Plus Market, Goods Market or Azúr – every Persil counts. The collected support amount will be distributed equally among three beneficiary foundations, who work every day to improve people’s conditions through four-legged helpers.
Dogs that become true companions
Assistance dogs not only make everyday life easier, but also provide security, independence and emotional support. They help the disabled, support the visually impaired in transportation, respond to sounds and signal when necessary, and bring peace of mind in times of anxiety, trauma or stress. With their work, they do not just perform a service – they become loving companions who can fundamentally change people’s lives.
Foundations supported by the campaign
Csiga-Biga Movement and Skills Development Foundation – Their qualified therapists and four-legged helpers develop the movement, communication and social skills of children with special educational needs or developmental delays through playful activities. The presence of dogs is motivating and removes inhibitions, making development a joyful experience.
Csodakutya Animal-Assisted Therapy Non-Profit Foundation – Their programs help children, adults and the elderly alike. Whether it’s cheering up residents of nursing homes, relieving stress at school or rehabilitating injured people.
Baráthegyi Blind Guide and Assistance Dog School Foundation – Their main mission is to help the visually impaired live independently with professionally trained guide dogs. Every dog donated, as a loyal companion, not only enables safe transportation, but also contributes to its owner living a fuller life.
“We are very happy that we can support the work of assistance dogs together with our customers. The Persil campaign goes beyond cleanliness: it is about taking responsibility and achieving real change – for both people and animals,”
– said Anna Erdődi, Junior Brand Manager.
