Chefs march to Parliament
Chefs will dress the city center in white on June 4, the National Unity Day, during the 8th Chefs’ Parade in Budapest.
The procession, which will start from Fővám Square and be accompanied by a military band, will march to the Parliament, where representatives of the profession will present the winning recipes for the “Food of Hungary”, “Szamos Tányérdesszert” and “Drink of Hungary” awards in the presence of a public dignitary. The event is organized by the Étrend Hungarian Chefs Association, and aims to strengthen the social recognition of the gastronomic profession. This year’s winning dish was prepared by Hunor Balázs and Botond Szilárd Laczkó, chefs of Kotyogó Restaurant in Farkaslak.
