Pingo Doce launches own online shopping platform
Portuguese supermarket chain Pingo Doce has launched its own online grocery platform in Lisbon and Porto, after ending a 7-year partnership with Glovo’s Mercadão. The new platform’s goal is to offer a complete brand experience, including in-store promotions and the integration of the O Meu Pingo Doce loyalty programme. Home delivery is carried out by a third party, focusing on same-day service.
