Kaufland launches insect-based food items in Croatia
Kaufland has rolled out insect-based products in Croatia. The product selection includes crispy crickets with spices or natural flavours, burgers made of cricket flour, protein cookies from bugs in almond, chocolate or brown sugar flavours. The retailer sources its insect-based products from companies such as Finland’s Entis and Griidy, Denmark’s Wholi Foods and France’s Minus Farm.
