The IMF lowers its world economic growth prediction
World economic growth has somewhat lost momentum – according to IMF’s updated forecast released on Monday.
In its revised and slightly revised version of the World Economic Outlook (WEO) forecast published last October, the IMF reduced its global GDP growth projection for 2019 by 0.2 percentage points to 3.5 percent and reduced its global GDP growth projection for 2020 by 0.1 percentage points to 3.6 percent, respectively.
