Ruiny cellars were rescued on Somló hill
So far, 24 ruiny cellars were rescued from decay by volunteers and winemakers on the Somló hill. The ruiny cellars will be kept clean by the adoptive wineries from now – one of the organizers informed MTI.
Cartwright Éva, the owner of the Wine Shop of Somló Wines told that the essence of the initiative is that each local winery cleans a cellar on the Somló hill. The winery becomes the patron of the cellar and also assume to keep clean the chosen ruiny cellar – she added.
She noted that the work they carried out in recent weeks represents million HUF value. The wineries did not use any outside help or tender money. (MTI)
