The consumer sentiment in the United States decreased
The consumer sentiment in the United States deteriorated slightly in November – shows the usual monthly survey of the University of Michigan. The preliminary results were published on Friday.
The consumer sentiment index fell to 97.8 points from the 100.7 points of October, but it is still well above the 93.8 points in November. Analysts expected 100.8 points for November.
The sub-index for consumer expectations for the next six months has dropped to 87.6 points from the 90.5 points of October, while the sub-index reflecting the current situation dropped from 116.5 to 113.6 points. (MTI)
