Consumer sentiment deteriorated in the US
The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index fell to 95.7 points in February from the 98.5 points of January. The preliminary value of the index was 96 points.
Within the overall index the perception of current conditions deteriorated among the consumers. The index fell to 111.2 points in February from the 111.3 points of January.
The indicator assessing the outlooks deteriorated to 85.7 points in February from the 90.3 points of January. (MTI)
