Business and consumer sentiment deteriorated in the euro zone
Business and consumer sentiment index became worse-than-expected in July – shows the datas of the European Commission published on Monday.
The overall economic sentiment index was 87.9 points in July, after the 89.9 points of June, while analysts expected 88.7 points.
The consumer confidence indicator has met the expectations. The index decreased to minus 21.5 points, from the minus 19.8 points of June.
The business sentiment index also fell to minus 1.27 points from minus 0.95 points. (MTI)
