Consumer sentiment deteriorated in October in the United States
Consumer sentiment deteriorated somewhat in the U.S. in October, according to a survey by the University of Michigan, while experts expected an improvement.

U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated
According to a preliminary assessment of the University of Michigan’s monthly regular consumer sentiment survey, the Sentiment Index weakened to 71.4 points in October from the 72.8 points in September.
Analysts expected a modest improvement of 73.1 points. (MTI)
