Consumer sentiment deteriorated in July in the world’s largest economy
Instead of the expected improvement, the University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index for the United States deteriorated in July.
According to preliminary data released on Friday, the University of Michigan consumer sentiment index fell 80.8 points in July from 85.5 points in June. The average of expert expectations included an improving indicator of 86.5 points. (MTI)
