Consumer sentiment in the United States deteriorated in February
According to preliminary data released on Friday, the value of the consumer sentiment index fell to 76.2 points from 79.0 points in January. Analysts expected an increase to 80.8 points.
Among the sub-indices, the indicator of consumer expectations for the next six months decreased from 74.0 points to 69.8 points, and the value of the sub-indicator reflecting the current situation decreased from 86.7 points to 86.2 points. (MTI)
