The consumer sentiment has fallen in the United States
The Consumer Sentiment Index of the US Michigan University became worse than expected in November.
In November, the Consumer Sentiment Index of the US Michigan University dropped to 97.5 points from the 98.6 points of the previous month.
Analysts expected a less deteriorating index of 98.3 points. Last November, the index stood higher: at 98.5 points.
The two sub-indices of this November’s indicator weakened as well. The current economic position index declined to 112.3 points from the 113.1 points of October. The indicator reflecting consumer expectations in the future decreased from 89.3 points to 88.1 points. (MTI)
