The number of overnight stays increased slightly last year in Romania

The number of overnight stays at commercial accommodations increased slightly by about 1.1 percent – the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced on Monday.

According to the datas, last year 7.9 million tourists spent 19.3 million guest nights in commercial accommodations in Romania.

The 21.7 percent of the visitors came from abroad, almost 78 percent were domestic tourists, who spent an average of 2.6 days at the commercial accommodations. Foreigners spent an average of two days. (MTI)
