More than 90 workers from the largest meat plant became infected in Romania
93 workers at the Smithfield pork processing plant in Romania were infected with a coronavirus, so the plant was suspended for a week – Romanian media reported.
The plant is located in Temes County, production can only be restarted after a thorough disinfection and re-testing of workers. Infected workers are asymptomatic, so they do not need hospital treatment, but they are isolated. (MTI)
