The majority of the cherry from Nagykörű to be exported to Romania this year
Exports to neighboring countries increased significantly from the internationally renowned Nagykörű cherry this year, meanwhile the interest towards the West European markets declined – Veres Nándor, mayor of Nagykörű told MTI.
Veres Nándor told that the cherry harvest is under way in the village, located near the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county section of the Tisza River. The vast majority of local plantations, has big, crunchy Germersdorf kind cherries. (MTI)
