The VAT reduction on drinking milk to 5 percent could be an element of utilities reduction – the president of the Milk Marketing Board Interprofessional Organization told in Budapest on Thursday.
Mélykuti Tibor president of the Milk Marketing Board Interprofessional Organization Czerván spoke about this at a joint press conference with Czerván György, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM).
The president of the Milk Marketing Board said that they suggested VAT cuts. He reminded that the Hungarian consumers are extremely price sensitive and more than half of the Hungarian dairy product consumption is milk.
