The Cup Revolution success story continues under the name RevoUnion
Hungary’s leading reuse system, Cup Revolution, continues its operations with a new name and location, an expanded product portfolio and international expansion. With the RevoUnion umbrella brand, the company aims to support the sustainability aspirations of the hospitality and retail industry both domestically and internationally with its circular economy solutions.
Cup Revolution, now known as RevoUnion, has been best known as a repo service provider since its founding in 2019, although the company has undergone a significant strategic shift in recent years. The organization has introduced a growing range of innovative products and services that can reduce the ecological footprint of hospitality and retail players while increasing their business efficiency.
“The new name reflects the business vision that we have been committed to for years: our goal is to create a world where sustainability and reuse are an integral part of everyday life. Together with our partners, we are building the most reliable and economically sustainable reuse system that enables global cooperation for a circular, waste-free economy. That is why we measure our success not in sales, but in reuse. Last year, we washed seven million RevoCups, i.e. reusable cups, and since our launch, 21 million, replacing at least the same number of single-use cups in catering and event venues.
– said Róbert Maros, Managing Director of RevoUnion Kft.
In the future, the RevoUnion umbrella brand will include reusable RevoCups, RevoBoxes that replace single-use food packaging, Cupler hot drink cups, RevoGlass unbreakable “glass cups”. This year’s big news will be the introduction of the RevoBag, a reusable shopping bag that works in a system with RevoCups and Cuplers.
