Partial success in the Slovak-Hungarian Tokaji Case
The European Commission deleted the Slovakian entry from the community register, that registered the Tokaji name among the protected geographical indications, in a benefit to Slovakia.
But the Slovakian claim for protected designation of origin is still in the a register, showing an also illegal state.
"The current problem, points out the weaknesses of the E-Bacchus system, that the Commission, follows undetectable the entries and removals" – stressed Csaba Tabajdi.
He pointed out, that the action of the Commission is a progress, however, Hungary can not be satisfied with the partial success – reports Origo.
