Thomas Müller takes a stake in Organic Garden start-up relying on the “farm to fork” concept
The year begins with another highlight for Organic Garden. After Mario Gómez and the KRONE Group, FC Bayern record player Thomas Müller now also invests in the sustainable concept of the food-tech start-up.
From farm to fork: this is the philosophy on nutrition of Organic Garden that was established in 2019. To this end, the company is well on its way to build the entire value chain itself: starting with regional food production on its own farm, through processing to the sale of the food produced.
It is precisely this holistic approach that convinced new investor Thomas Müller to accompany the young company on its path ‘from farm to fork’: “At Organic Garden, nutrition begins with the tomato seeds in the greenhouse and ends with a ready-to-eat pasta arrabiata. So I know exactly what’s on my plate and where the ingredients come from,” Müller says.” Here, nutrition is thought out from start to finish: everything from a single source. This sustainable overall concept is unique in Germany for the time being.”
Together with Organic Garden, Thomas Müller wants to further the mission of sustainable nutrition. With transparent, sustainable processes, short transport routes and food that tastes good and is healthy for people and nature at the same time.
