A record number of tourists came from Slovakia

According to preliminary statistics, in 2015, 170 thousand tourists from Slovakia visited Hungary. This is a historical record – Renács Szilvia, head of the representation of the Hungarian National Tourist Office in Slovakia told on Thursday at the Hungarian Tourism Day event in Bratislava.

The Hungarian Tourism Day is held each year in Bratislava. The lectures and presentations combined with events targets primarily the Slovak tourism industry, the local travel agencies and representatives of the local press. At the event, about 18 Hungarian companies represented themselves. This the Danube regions were introduced. (MTI, Starovic Tibor)
