A record number of entries were received for the Brillante distillery competition
Most of the 750 samples came from Hungary from 103 settlements, 193 from Romania, 41 from Slovakia and 5 from Serbia.
Most distillates again this year came from grapes and grape products (268), followed by the fruit of the year, the apple with 112 samples; the third most came from 106 plum samples, followed by the berry and wild and forest fruit category. (MTI)
