The Procurement Manager Index broke a record in May
The Procurement Manager Index jumped to 62.1 points in May, from April’s 56.2 points – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) told MTI on Thursday.
May, was an above the average month. The value of the long-term average – measured since 1995 -was 52.2 points, while the May average was 52.3 points, but in the past three years, the average for May was 53.3 points. So this year’s value is well above average – they said. (MTI)
