The number of British billionaires has set a record

The number and wealth of billionaires living in Britain rose to another record, although the wealth situation of some major Russian investors has been severely challenged by sanctions imposed on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

The conservative British newspaper The Sunday Times has been compiling a list of the wealthiest of Britain’s wealthiest people in Britain every spring since 1989.

According to the summary – the top 250 of which was already covered by the paper on Friday – there are 177 billionaires are living in Britain, six more than a year ago. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
