Record sales by certified organic products in the US in 2023
In the US the certified organic market reached a record USD 69.7bn in sales in 2023, according to the Organic Trade Association (OTA).

Sales in the category increased by 3.4% compared to 2022, mainly due to pricing measures. Sales of organic fruits and vegetables grew by 2.6% to USD 20.5bn, accounting for 15% of total US fruit and vegetable sales. Organic food sales augmented by 4.1% to USD 15.4bn. The third largest organic category was beverages, which expanded by 3.9% and recorded sales of USD 9.4bn. //
