Continental posted record sales last year
The company, which employs more than 500 people, also closed a successful year in terms of sales: sales of cigarettes, which can be seen as the engine of cigarettes and turnover, increased last year. Although less tobacco was sold than in 2020, in line with the contraction of the consumer tobacco market in general, this is due to a larger increase in the tax content of the product group compared to cigarettes and the rise of new-generation tobacco products. The company also further strengthened its international presence in 2021, with its cigars appearing in the South American market in Chile. (MTI)
