Record low strawberry prices: customers can be happy, a price drop is expected

In Poland, strawberry prices are at record lows in the wholesale markets, and further price reductions are expected according to the trend. The price of imported strawberries continued to fall during the Easter period, and although the rate of price decline has moderated somewhat, prices are at rock bottom. In the previous five years, there was a similar situation only in 2019, and the prices experienced at the beginning of April continued to decrease – states the report of the FruitVeB Hungarian Vegetable and Fruit Trade Organization and Product Council.
