Record amounts of beer and ice cream consumed in stores nowadays. Manufacturers are trying to attract consumers with new flavors and packagings.
The sales of cold drinks and ice cream have multiplied due to the heat. Fodor Attila, CBA’s director of communications, told that beer sales did not decrease after the European Football Championships, still 40 – 50 percent more is being consumed than usual. In case of ice creams an also significant 35-40 percent sales surplus have registered, although the demand is lower, compared to last year. (Világgazdaság Online, Vég Márton)
