Regional and local campaigns in Tesco stores
Tesco has always been an important place of communication for the FMCG sector in general, but Tesco hypermarkets are also perfect for regional advertising. Tesco’s 119 hypermarkets make it possible for advertisers to focus on smaller markets, for example on just one town. Be it indoor or outdoor advertising, masses of people can be reached through Tesco hypermarkets. According to POS Services Kft.’s head of sales Nikolett Neff, recently a financial service provider has surveyed where they can reach the most people in towns with a campaign and they found that it was Tesco stores. Many regional advertisers use this excellent opportunity this year too. For instance Zamárdi Adventure Park advertises on shopping trolley shelters, while Palace discotheque communicates via several advertising tools.
