Region marketing
Not only countries, but regions may also use collective marketing. The Spanish region specialising in agriculture and the food industry, Castillia-Leon is a good example. Many synergies exist between government-level marketing and regional marketing. According to Ágnes Vattamány, business coordinator of Excal Hungary Kft, the companies they represent usually retain the “Spanish” image, but for some traditional products, the region of origin is given special emphasis.
